Welcome to the #superhero12 breakout session Letting Your Hero Grow | Expanding Your Classroom Beyond Physical Walls Using Blogger. The following posts act not as a traditional blog but as a roadmap to this breakout session. Feel free to go back to, pass on, reuse, and steal from these posts.

I bring expertise is asking questions, much more so than answering any of them...

About Me

Paul Martin Hannan is educator focused on creating authentic learning experiences for his students. Technology is central to what he does. To see examples of his work you can look at his website.

Hannan currently works at Sophia.org where he has created college level tutorials and does teacher training. Prior to working for Sophia.org Hannan taught and coordinated an After-School Program at FAIR School Downtown. Hannan has also taught at Armstrong High School.

Hannan received both his Master of Education and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. His studies focused on understanding societal differences through the Social Sciences and the workings of the human brain.

Hannan considers himself a "kind of a hipster dork". His curiosity takes his learning in many directions. You can often find him reading blogs and books or listening to podcast about technology, history, the modern society, and whatever else is currently catching his interest. He also avidly enjoys traveling, outdoors activities, coaching/playing soccer, and video games.
